- The applicants for scholarship should have attended a high school or a total of 16 years of education
- Applicants having dual nationality will not be considered eligible to apply for a scholarship
- The applicant must maintain a GPA of 2.7 out of 4.3 after the first year of studying at KAIST
- Applicants with Korean nationality will not be considered eligible to apply for this scholarship program unless they have attended their education in any other country
- Applicants from any other country, who have completed their education till high school from Korea
