Open Doors Fully-funded Scholarships 2023 – Applications Accepted
Fully funded Scholarships to Study for free in Russian Universities are now available. Apply for the Russian Government Sponsored Open Doors 2023-2024 Scholarship for all disciplines and degree levels. There are 16 subjects offered this year in English or Russian Language to international students in Russian Universities sponsored by Open Doors Scholarships Program.
Applying for a scholarship in Russia in 2023 will be much less of a hassle. Every year, Russian Government Scholarships are offered to overseas students. Given that a large percentage of Russian universities provide financial aid for international students. There are Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs available in Russian universities.

The Russian Scholarships are Fully Funded by the Russian Federation Govt under Open Doors Scholarships Program for 2023. In Russian Universities, several degrees are available in the English and Russian languages. Most Russian Universities may require IELTS, TOEFL, or other English language exams therefore, we found some Russian educational institutions that do not need the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). It is possible to attend a Russian university without taking the IELTS exam.

Russian Open Doors Scholarships 2023:
The Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the World Association of Universities are partnering to provide Open Doors Scholarships for international students. The winners of the Open Doors Olympiad and Open Doors Academic competitions are awarded scholarships. The winners will get the opportunity to attend one of Russia’s top higher education. There are nearly 300 available open doors scholarship awards, each of which covers the whole cost of attendance for the recipient. Scholarship applications are only open to overseas students.
Criteria for Eligibility to apply for Open Doors Scholarship:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program or possession of a Bachelor’s degree.
- If you are an international student, you are eligible to enter the competition.
- A letter of intent and evidence of degree completion is all that is necessary.
- Anyone who is a Russian citizen who currently resides outside of Russia is eligible to enter.
Apply Process of Open Doors Scholarships:
Registrations for Russian Open Doors Scholarships are open from September 15, 2023, till December 10, 2023. Please scroll down on this article to fetch the Application submission page link for open doors scholarships. Both English and Russian have been designated as the official languages.
Olympiad registration will be open from September 15th – December 10th, 2023, and participants are asked to register online. Please submit all materials in English or Russian, or give translations into one of the Olympiad languages.
- A cover letter and verification of academic level are all that are needed to go beyond the first round of consideration.
- From January 10th through the 28th of 2023, the proctored second stage of the Olympiad will be conducted.
- The final stage, for PhDs only, is online interviews with possible research supervisors between February 28 to March 18, 2023.

1# The Russian Government Scholarship.
This is a scholarship sponsored by the Russian Federation on behalf of the Russian government. Last year, the Russian government provided 18,000 scholarships. All Foreign Students may pursue Graduate, Masters, and Doctoral Degrees in Russian Universities. You may participate in any Degree at any Russian University. Collaboration between the Russian Ministry of Science and the Russian Ministry of Higher Education.
2# Russian Skoltech University Scholarship
Skoltech University is a private institution of higher education in the Russian capital of Moscow. Full Scholarships for International Students Pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral Degree the Skoltech University and the MIT Collaborative (MIT). No Need for an IELTS or TOEFL Score.
3# Scholarship from HSE University Russia
One of the most prestigious educational institutions in all of Russia, the HSE is also a pioneer in the fields of economics and social sciences in Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Scholarships are available for overseas students who are not from Russia to participate in HSE’s graduate and master’s programs.
4# Scholarships offered by the NRU.
The Higher School of Economics at National Research University is now accepting scholarship applications from overseas students. Students who are interested in enrolling in a program leading to a master’s degree will be pleased to hear this news.
