Applicants interested to study in Romanian Universities in English taught programs may be required to submit IELTS scores alongside their application material. But still, IELTS is not a mandatory requirement because applicants are given options to provide any IELTS alternative English language proficiency test results such as TOEFL iBT, Duolingo, PTE, or Cambridge English tests. The scores of IETLS or TOEFL are not necessary as most of the institutions have devised their own tests which the students can take once they arrive in Romania.
