Entry Criteria for the KAIST Scholarship program:

    • Students from any country, nation, or continent are allowed and encouraged to apply for scholarships
    • The applicants of scholarship should have attended a high school or a total of 16 years of education
    • Applicants having dual nationality will not be considered eligible to0 apply for a scholarship
    • The applicant must maintain a GPA of 2.7 out of 4.3 after the first year of studying at KAIST
    • Applicants with Korean nationality will not be considered eligible to apply for this scholarship program unless they have attended their education in any other country
    • Applicants from any other country, who have completed their education till high school from Korea

The KAIST is always up for providing scholarships. There are 3 KAIST Scholarship application cycles in which the applications can be submitted. It can be submitted three times in one year, every year. 

#1 First Cycle:

Application Submission Begins: The application submission starts on September 1, 2022.
Application Submission Ends: The application submission ends on October 23, 2022.
Recommendation letter submission Begins: The recommendation letter submission starts on Sep 1, 2022.
Recommendation Letter Submission Ends: The recommendation letter submission ends on October 30, 2022.

#2 Second Cycle:

Application Submission Begins: The application submission starts on November 9, 2022.
Application Submission Ends: The application submission ends on January 8, 2022.
Recommendation letter submission Begins: Recommendation letter submission starts on November 9, 2022.
Recommendation Letter Submission Ends: The recommendation letter submission ends on January 15, 2023.

#3 Third Cycle:

Application Submission Begins: The application submission starts on March 1, 2022.
Application Submission Ends: The application submission ends on May 28, 2022.
