English Language Requirements of SIIT
IELTS is not a mandatory requirement for admission at SIIT. To be in consideration for SIIT Scholarship, you must have certified proof of your English Language Proficiency. The test results that are accepted for this scheme include IELTS, TOEFL, CAEL, Duolingo, Cambridge English Test, etc.
Eligibility Criteria of SIIT Scholarships
There are various merits that need to be attained in order to be eligible for this scholarship scheme. Students who have the following qualities and documentation are eligible for these scholarships:
- Certified proof of English Language Proficiency
- The scholarship only holds for foreign students so you must be a national of a county other than Thailand
- A CGPA in excess of 2.75 is acceptable. Applications below that will not be entertained for Bachelors
- The applicant must be willing to pursue Master’s and Ph.D. programs in the fields that are covered under this scholarship
- A CGPA below 3.50 is not acceptable for Master’s and Ph.D. applicants
