Flinders University, in partnership with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), has announced fully funded PhD scholarship opportunities for 2025 at its Caring Futures Institute. This prestigious initiative targets outstanding candidates to work with the Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA) data, aiming to improve the quality and consistency of aged care services across Australia.

Scholarship Benefits

The ROSA Scholarships offer a tax-free stipend of $33,990 per annum (indexed annually for 2024) for a duration of three years. Domestic students may receive a Research Training Program Fee Offset Scholarship, while international students must apply separately for the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (International) to cover their fees. Overseas Student Health Cover is also required for international candidates.

About ROSA

The program emphasizes knowledge translation and hands-on experience in analytical methodologies to produce data-driven evidence for enhancing aged care services.
