Dalian University of Technology DUT-CSC Scholarship 2026 for MS, PhD Admissions Without IELTS

The Dalian University of Technology (DUT) has officially announced the opening of applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) – High Level Postgraduate Program 2026, providing a fully funded study opportunity for international students seeking master’s or doctoral degrees in China.

Administered under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the prestigious scholarship allows DUT to directly recruit outstanding young foreign students to pursue high-level academic training and research in various disciplines. The scholarship aims to strengthen educational collaboration, scientific exchange, and international partnerships between China and other nations.


Full Scholarships for Master’s and PhD Programs

The 2026 admission cycle covers both Master’s (three years) and Doctoral (four years) degree programs. The language of instruction is primarily Chinese, with several English-taught programs also available.
All selected candidates will enjoy comprehensive financial support that includes:

  • Full tuition waiver
  • Free on-campus accommodation
  • Monthly stipend of RMB 3,000 for master’s students and RMB 3,500 for doctoral students
  • Comprehensive medical insurance

International travel expenses are self-funded.


Eligibility and Admission Criteria

Eligible applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health who meet the academic and age requirements:

  1. Master’s applicants: must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old
  2. Doctoral applicants: must hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old

Language qualifications depend on the medium of instruction.
For Chinese-taught programs, applicants should have HSK Level 4 or 5 (depending on field), while English-taught programs require a valid IELTS (≥ 5.5), TOEFL (≥ 80), or Duolingo (≥ 100) score, or an English-medium instruction certificate.


Application Period and Procedure

Applications are open from November 1, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
Interested candidates must complete applications on two portals:

  1. CSC Online Application System – www.campuschina.org
    (Agency Number of DUT: 10141)
  2. DUT International Students Application System – iso.dlut.edu.cn

Both systems must show verified submission; otherwise, applications will be canceled automatically.

Selection and Enrollment Timeline

The review and nomination process will take place in spring 2026. Final admission notices will be issued between July and August 2026, and successful candidates are expected to arrive in September 2026 to begin their academic journey at DUT.
